Dubbo

Dubbo is located in the Orana region near the middle of NSW, between Coonabarabran and Parkes. Dubbo is close to Orange and around a 4.5 hour drive from Sydney. Because of Dubbos location there are major highways leading to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, New castle. The highways that connect Dubbo to all these cities are named the Newell, Mitchell and Golden highways. 3 Landmarks that you could visit in Dubbo:

Aladins cave Bottle house	It is a yurt style building made out of 3000 bottles and hamessages, toys, photos, treasures and much more inside each bottle.
Dundullimal homestead	This place was built in the 1840s and is a replica of life in an early colony.

There are a few famous and noticable people who have lived or are living in Dubbo. Kate Leigh was an underworld figure in Sydney, she became an illegal trader of alcohol and drugs, especially cocaine, in the early 20th century and was an infamous leading figure in the Razor gang.
